Tomorrow, Driven to Write is pushing aside all other issues to deal with a single car. It’s the Big Ask:
Our writing team will offer their deep wisdom and cogent analysis of the times and fate of one of Europe’s most discussed saloons from the recent past. Above is a small indication of what will be presented in the course of this unique day. As a sample, the car had a 1.9 litre common rail diesel engine among those offered during its nine-year run. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow to find out just how the Big Ask was answered…
I look forward to seeing something interesting written about this car. No doubt the many that ended up as South London minicabs have been witness to interesting events.
South, North, West or East… Things aren’t any better across the river, despite what some people seem to think.
Please don’t say you’ve guessed. DTW’s team have spent weeks planning this major surprise.
We opened a book and some of us are pretty confident they have it right. There’s big money at stake so you’d better make sure there’s no leakage…
In that case I am opening to revisions. I can can search-replace the keywords. Rover 214 instead? Maserati QP3?
I’m ashamed to say I guessed it from the first picture on 21/10 from the headlight and indicator, although it’s a rare colour on that car ( in the UK at least ). Putting the word holland in the key words of this article sealed it.
Sneaky! Nobody reads those!
And lots of cars are sold in Holland.
