The cheapest running 480 on mobile.de is this for €599. There are just 13 on sale at the moment.

Autoscout has a further 68 though a few may be the same car advertised twice. The cheapest one is €600. Autotrader has one for £2,995. That one has 100,000 km and has had three owners.The UK example is photographed rather nicely: this seller is taking their job seriously but then again the price is quite serious too (more than €600 serious).

I always liked the 480, and the Turbo would have had some nice oomph. It was always a bit of an oddity, though in their range, although that probably added to my perception of the charm.
It was the car you didn’t expect from Volvo. Car magazine’s “Parting shot” on the car has rung in my ears for two decades. It only sounded mean-spirited, not fun. The looks, package and price of the 480 meant it should have been a car that Car respected.
