GM’s Chief Designer To Retire

GM’s head of design, Ed Welburn, is retiring in June. What is his legacy?

This was reported here. It seems like only yesterday that he was appointed: 2003. He replaced Wayne Cherry. When I started writing about Opel and Buick my view of the relationship rested on the idea that if Opel could provide some useful platforms to Buick then that would be a good thing.
